Jenna began her dance training at age 3 in York, NE, and after high school she was accepted into the Stephens College Dance Program in Columbia, MO, to continue her professional training, graduating in 2006 with a BFA in Dance. Through her years at Stephens she received professional training from broadway veterans, former principle dancers of the Beijing Ballet, Royal Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and The American Ballet Theatre, former Principles with the Martha Grahm Co, Paul Taylor Co, Parsons Dance Co, and Humphrey Wideman Dance Co, and various other guest artists. She has been a professional dancer, guest artist, and instructor for 12 years all across the country and around the world.
Some of her professional performance credits include: OLIVER (Harbor Lights Equity Theatre Co of NYC), Princess Cruises, Busch Gardens Europe, and The Chezzam ENT Co of NYC. She has also performed locally at Pinewood Bowl in 42ND STREET as “Anytime Annie” (2014), and with The Stage Theater as “Eleanor Carter” in G.I HOLIDAY JUKEBOX (2015), and as a Dancer/ singer in GUYS AND DOLLS (2016).
Teaching highlights include being assistant to Mimi Quillin, who is a Broadway Veteran and former dancer/assistant to Bob Fosse at Broadway Dance Center of NYC, Contemporary and Musical Theater instructor at The Masters School of NYC, and the Jazz, Tap, and Ballet instructor at Virginia Regional Ballet of Williamsburg, VA. Jenna has also taught locally for both Anderson-Hoxie Dance Project of Waverly, and Lincoln Dance Center, and has choreographed numerous musicals for The Stage Theater of Hickman, and Lincoln Southeast High School.
